I love bubbles. And sidewalk chalk. And kids who are NOT afraid to roll around in some dirt.
After I got the pretty photo of everyone all together and smiling (*laughing, actually) I told the kids they could run around and get as dirty as possible! Kids tend to remember that kind of thing. Photographers are cool if they are encouraged to play!
Fun is always my focus with children and family portraits.
