I photographed teenage brothers a couple of weeks ago, and survived. These boys were polite AND friendly. Although, the youngest one confirmed that, in fact, I am not cool. I photograph (mostly) toddlers & babies for a living mostly because humans above age 4 (especially boys) SCARE me. Boys have a bullsh!t factor of zero. 
But the day I worked with them, I just let them be who they were. And that meant one showed up wielding swords.
